Abstract:The primary function of a construction building is to ensure operational comfort to the dwelling people and nevertheless to provide safety and thermal comfort to the maximum extent. In Rajasthan and Gujarat which are very hot states of India, and where moisture is less, there are a lot of dwellings that are primarily built with exterior cavity walls which control heating and moisture. These double walls provide stability to the structure and separate the controlled indoor climate from the outdoor fluctuating environment. In this paper, we will present the thermodynamical evolution of moist air in a room with the aim of detecting whether saturation occurs when the external environment's properties change. The model uses meteorological data for the air temperature, pressure, and relative humidity, measured at Dum Dum Kolkata(less moisture-prone zone) and Dibrugarh station( more moisture-prone zone). The property data correspond to high conditions of dew point temperature and the average conditions of dry bulb temperature as observed on the 1st of June 2022.
