Abstract:In recent years, technology has fundamentally transformed the landscape of higher education, presenting new opportunities and challenges for enhancing student engagement. This paper explores the multifaceted role of technology in fostering student involvement, motivation, and learning outcomes. By examining various technological tools and approaches, including online learning platforms, interactive multimedia, gamification, and collaborative technologies, the paper highlights the benefits and limitations of technology in engaging students. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of effective implementation and instructional design to maximize the positive impact of technology on student engagement in higher education. Ultimately, the integration of technology into the educational framework can empower students and educators alike, creating enriched learning experiences that are crucial for success in today’s digital age.
